We’re currently in negotiation with a customer, and one question my supervisor asked me was whether or not what we charge for CME maintenance and documentation is the standard amount (or at least close to it).
Does your organization charge for CME maintenance and documentation? If so, how much?
We currently charge a $20 fee per attendee for CME maintenance and documentation (less for those activities with 200 or more attendees). The maintenance and documentation fee covers the cost of our department to:
• Ensure attendee credit and attendance data is documented in the CME database
• Maintain all attendee records for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits (for 6 yrs.)
• Report activity to ACCME (annually)
